Pharmacy Technician

Bothell Medical – F/T

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, compounds and dispenses medical prescriptions. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Compound medical prescriptions according to the instruction of the Pharmacist.
• Dispense medicine prescribed to patients according to the instruction of the Pharmacist.
• Input insurance, patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Collect co-pays from patients and perform cash register duties at pharmacy counter as needed.
• Comply with all federal, state and agency regulatory standards.
• Assist with gathering data and compiling reports as directed.
• Provides clerical support to pharmacy department as needed.
• Order, receive and stock medications from wholesaler's and/or distributors. 

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent, and
• One to three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current certificate from an accredited pharmacy technician program
