I chose to train at HealthPoint for the opportunity to train in the Primary Care Behavioral Health model. The range of training experiences offered at HealthPoint, such as pre-surgical evaluations, program development, consultation, brief psychotherapy, and working in an integrated team is of particular interest to me. It is also great that HealthPoint is located in a wonderful city/state and has great supervisors, providers, and staff.
My interests include providing consultation and brief psychotherapy to adult patients with a range of medical conditions. My specific clinical interests include reducing mental health stigma, social justice in healthcare, increasing access to quality care, women's health, and working with patients who experience chronic pain. I enjoy reading, hiking, traveling, cooking, Netflix-ing, and spending time with family and friends!
