About Me

I chose HealthPoint because of the community it serves. As a first-generation college student and the first in my family to work in healthcare, I was determined to pursue a career where my work would make a difference for those who need it most. Growing up in an environment where health often came second due to financial limitations, I deeply understand people's challenges when they can’t afford care. HealthPoint provides opportunities to access the care they deserve, and I’m proud to be a part of that mission.

As a Pacific Islander woman (Chamorro) dedicated to serving marginalized communities, my professional interests focus on providing care to underserved populations, particularly unhoused individuals, women, and children who face barriers in accessing healthcare. I am passionate about improving healthcare access and outcomes for those often overlooked by traditional systems, and I am committed to delivering gender-affirming care to transgender and gender-nonconforming individuals, ensuring they receive respectful, inclusive, and comprehensive care. My interests also extend to public health, addressing the intersection of poverty, mental health, substance use, and lack of access to care, with a focus on creating compassionate, trauma-informed environments where individuals feel safe and supported. Ultimately, I aim to use my background and perspective to help bridge gaps in healthcare services and advocate for holistic, community-based solutions that prioritize the dignity, well-being, and inclusivity of those most in need.

Outside the clinic, I love going on adventures with my children. We enjoy exploring new parks, visiting museums, and discovering more about the world around us. Outside of that, I’m passionate about learning about different cultures and places, especially through food. Trying out new restaurants is one of our favorite ways to experience and enjoy new flavors together!
