About Me

I chose HealthPoint because HealthPoint provides the opportunity to care for a wide range of patients, including those who might face barriers to healthcare, such as refugees or those from marginalized backgrounds. With a large Afghan population among our patients, I feel privileged to serve this community. My background allows me to connect with them on a deeper cultural and personal level. My clinical interests include:

- Caring for LGBTQ+ identifying patients, including providing gender-affirming care.

- Reproductive health including prenatal care, deliveries, and discussing contraception.

- Discussing and treating substance use disorder

- Refugee health

- Using ultrasound in a primary care setting

- Procedures (dermatologic, gynecologic, newborn circumcisions, etc)

Outside of work, I enjoy biking, hiking, climbing, cooking, and spending time with loved ones.
