About Me

I chose HealthPoint because I enjoy meeting people and learning about different cultures that come with Community Health and the HealthPoint patients are the most diverse. The nutrition science is the same but helping people of all ages understand how their cultural foods are working with or against their bodies is a very satisfying experience. My clinical experience involves inpatient, long-term rehab, and long-term care facilities where I've tried to use nutrition education to help people live well after acute illness or surgery and in the last years of their lives. I have a board certification in gerontology, but I like working with all ages.  I am also invested in helping with the hurdles our refugees face in eating healthily.

Outside the clinic, I love music and dance. I play ukulele, sing karaoke, and dance when opportunities arise. I am also a rower with the Duwamish Rowing Club.
