6 Ways to Celebrate National Health Center Week

National Health Center Week (8/7-8/13) is just around the corner.  Will you join us in celebrating all the hard work that health centers do to keep our communities and country healthy?  See the list below for six ways to show your support and get in the NHCW spirit!

  1. Become a Health Center Advocate:  Show your support for HealthPoint by becoming a health center advocate! You can sign up online or by texting HCADVOCATE to 52886.
  2. Snap a Selfie: Take a picture next time you’re working out or being healthy and you could win a Jawbone Up2!  To participate in the Healthy Selfie contest, post your photo in the contest comment section on HealthPoint’s Facebook page. The photo with the most Likes by 8/12 wins!
  3. Attend a Sneak Peek for HealthPoint Tukwila Dental: Join us and special guest U.S. Representative, Adam Smith (WA-9) to celebrate healthy smiles and healthy communities!  We're hosting a preview of our new dental clinic from 9 a.m. -10 a.m. on Thursday, August 11th. Learn more.
  4. Root for the Home Team: In honor of National Health Center Month, the Mariners are offering specially priced tickets for HealthPoint friends and family to the August 21st game against the Milwaukee Brewers. Buy your tickets (and peanuts and Cracker Jacks) by 8/19 and we’ll see you at Safeco!
  5. Draw a Picture: We want to know what makes you smile! To celebrate NCHW and our new Tukwila Dental Clinic, we're is hosting a kids’ coloring contest. Submission deadline is August 8.  Learn more.
  6. Enter the NHCW Photo/Video Contest:  If you could represent what Community Health Centers does in a photo or video, what would it look like? This contest is a chance to use your creativity and garner some national attention for HealthPoint!  Winners receive a $500 sponsorship for NHCW 2017 and fame via a feature in the 2017 Health Centers Calendar.
