National Health Center Week 2017

For more than 50 years, Community Health Centers (CHCs) have provided high quality, affordable health care for ALL people, regardless of ability to pay, insurance, or other circumstances. Today, CHCs serve more than 25 million people and, through cost-effective, prevention-focused care, we save the American healthcare system and tax payer more $24 billion each year.

At HealthPoint, we are proud to be a community health center and we think the work CHCs do to keep our communities and country healthy is worth celebrating!  That’s why we’re so excited for National Health Center Week.

National Health Center Week (NCHW) is a celebration of CHCs and our long record of success in delivering top quality, innovative care that is accessible, affordable, and tailored to the unique needs of our patients.

While 1 in every 15 people living in America count on community health centers for care, many people still don’t know that we exist.  NHCW is a chance to change that!  As a community-based model of care, we cannot do our work unless we have public support and confidence in our programs.  NHCW provides a spotlight for sharing our stories and illuminating the important work that HealthPoint and other CHCs do to keep our people healthy, our families strong, and our communities vibrant and resilient.
