Naturopathic provider, Dr. Nitin Thapa was compelled to practice medicine in the United States; integrating naturopathic medicine into his medical background, he now works within Washington state’s diverse community to provide health care at HealthPoint. Dr. Thapa’s favorite part of working at HealthPoint is, “helping newly arrived families navigate their healthcare needs. Seeing their relief and gratitude reinforces why I joined.”
Originally from Nepal, Dr. Nitin Thapa moved to the United States to have a better life and to be close to his family here in Washington State. He shares, “The mountains and terrain in this area make me feel like I am in Nepal.” His fascination with landscapes is tied to his photography and idol, the late Ansel Adams. Following Ansel Adam's steps, Dr. Thapa has explored many U.S. National parks including Yosemite and Zion. When he isn’t photographing the land, Dr. Thapa stays connected to the local Nepalese community through the Board of the Nepalese Seattle Society whose mission is to preserve Nepalese culture and foster relationships within the community.
