The Community Connection Fund is made possible in part through the support of mission-driven sponsor Salal Credit Union. Salal Credit Union shares HealthPoint’s commitment to strengthening community well‑being through its support of the Community Connection Fund, which fills gaps that are not covered by traditional health care funding. Supporting patients beyond clinical care through the Community Connection Fund addresses the whole person and not just the symptoms.
The Community Connection Fund can provide essentials such as:
- Emergency groceries for families (2–3 weeks of food)
- Transportation support, including rides to specialty or community appointments
- Household necessities for families transitioning into stable housing
- Health tracking devices for patients managing chronic conditions
- Smartphones and temporary data plans to help patients connect with housing, employment, and health resources
