Thank you for everything Dr. Tan! YOU are the HEART of HealthPoint! In celebration of Volunteer Appreciation Week and her recent retirement, we’d like to honor Dr. Ling Tan for her more than 10 years of volunteer service to our patients!
Dr. Tan’s colleagues describe her as “an amazing provider who gives excellent and attentive care” and “always makes holidays special with fun activities and goodies for staff.” HealthPoint Bothell Clinical Director, Xiomara Munoz worked alongside Dr. Tan for many years and shared this reflection about this All-Star Volunteer: “Dr. Tan is a kind, generous person. Not only did she find the time to volunteer to see our Bothell patients, but she also took care of us, the medical staff. She brought in a King County little library to the waiting room, so patients had something to read. She was always creating games and puzzles for the medical staff to do with prizes and treats for all. I was so lucky to have worked with such a special colleague.”
For Dr. Tan, the feeling is mutual. In a farewell reflection, Dr. Tan shared that “having learned many lessons at HealthPoin Bothell in the last decade, it became clear to me that, “behind the myriad enhancements stands one enduring factor; a force of dedicated champions like you who carry out the mission of the organization.”
