Some of Nicole’s most rewarding memories at HealthPoint include helping patients get the medications they need but can’t afford with aid from the 340B program.
340B allows HealthPoint pharmacists and other providers to give underserved patients the medications and services they need. The program requires drug companies to sell certain outpatient drugs at deep discounts to Community Health Centers and other safety net providers. The Health Centers then pass the savings onto patients through discounted medications and many other services.
