Dental Residency

Program Overview

HealthPoint’s Dental Residency is located in Tukwila, Washington, just minutes away from downtown Seattle. Our Tukwila clinic is home to primary medical care and an on-site pharmacy where residents have the opportunity to collaborate with these providers, but also refer patients to additional services.

Each AEGD program is unique, so we wanted to highlight the procedures, equipment, training, and support you can expect here at HealthPoint. Equipment

• Rotary endo with WaveOne Gold files, multiple methods of obturation (warm vertical, obturators, single cone)

• Soft tissue laser

• A-dec Dental Chairs with dual monitors and handpieces with LED lights

• High quality restorative materials with multiple options to find what works best in your hands

Training

• Full electronic health records (EHR) training from our dental training team

• Access to HealthPoint’s quarterly All Provider Meetings to develop additional skills and learning

• Shadowing medical providers to learn additional skills

Support

• Trained Dental Assistant for each resident column

• All lab work sent to professional dental lab

• A full-time hygienist at clinic to provide hygiene treatment
